Campus-wide CCTV surveillance for a national design institute
A national design-education institute wanted to strengthen campus security with real-time monitoring, recording and rapid incident response - for the safety of students, faculty, staff and visitors. Selected through a government tender, Enview designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the complete CCTV system, campus-wide, in under three months.

Background
The institute needed comprehensive surveillance across its campus - real-time monitoring, recording, incident deterrence and rapid response - to keep students, faculty, staff and visitors safe.
Enview was selected through the government tender process to design, supply, install, commission and maintain the complete solution, with end-to-end implementation and local technical support.
Solution
Enview supplied, installed and commissioned a complete campus CCTV surveillance system, from cameras to the monitoring room.
- 10 high-resolution IR PTZ cameras (12× zoom) and 21 IR dome cameras
- 4 × 16-channel DVRs with 4 TB storage each, with an HD monitor for live viewing
- Network rack, 12-port switch and complete network integration
- 2 KVA UPS for clean, uninterrupted power
- CCTV cabling, PVC raceway and conduits, pole mounts and camera brackets
Implementation
Installation commenced on 1 May 2014 and was completed on 27 July 2014 - all equipment installed, tested and commissioned to the customer's requirements, with the system confirmed successfully commissioned on handover.
